With August coming to an end, I find myself reaching for cozy layers and all things fall. Since it's still around 90 degrees in Florida, heavy layers really aren't a realistic option--unless you stay inside all day. But that won't stop me from wearing my new fall sweaters with my summer shorts and sandals. I recently grabbed this black BP. v-neck sweater and scalloped lace bralette from Nordstrom. This combo is a great way to wear your fall sweaters in the late summer months.
Nordstrom always has the best sweaters at amazing prices. This one is only $39! To get the oversized, off-the-shoulder look, I simply went up a size in the sweater. The neckline on this sweater is great to wear a few different ways. Personally, I love it pulled to one side for a subtle sexy off-the-shoulder look. The sweater has lots of stretch so you can also wear it completely off-the-shoulder which is super cute. The v-neck is great to wear with a lace bralette (this one is only $26) to dress it up a little, or pair it with a collared shirt for a preppier look. It's such a versatile sweater and at only $39 it's a fall must-have!
Distressed cutoffs will always be a favorite of mine. When I saw these Rag & Bone Justine high waist cutoff shorts at Nordstrom I had to have them. They are definitely a splurge, but seriously have the most flattering fit. To be honest, the distressing totally sold me--just give me all the rips!! They are high-waisted and are cut a littler shorter in the front making your legs look super long--umm, yes please! I paired them with Steve Madden strappy nude sandals for a date night look. They also look great with sneakers, flip flops, and even over-the-knee boots for a fun fall look. Seeing how much I've already worn them, they are worth every penny. Once you try them on you'll never want to take them off!
